Nature cures – not the physician”
Hippocrates

Nature Therapy or Ecotherapy is a way of restoring balance to busy lives, offers an opportunity to reconnect with the natural world in which we traditionally belonged and rejuvenates and restores us physically, mentally and spiritually. By tuning in to nature we can tap into her abundant healing powers and bring positive and healthy change to our lives.

Unfortunately, many people today are disconnected from the earth and it is believed that this disconnection can cause health problems, particularly problems such as ADHD, depression and anxiety. Nature Therapy improves the mood and enables us to put our problems into perspective. MIND, a leading UK mental health charity is calling for ecotherapy to be recognised as a “...clinically valid front line treatment for mental health problems”. Nature or Eco Therapy is beneficial for anyone who feels the desire to enjoy nature – the peace, the fresh air, the beautiful surroundings and the re-connection.

MannonWe offer walking meditations with a focus specific to the person’s or group’s needs and we offer out-door guided meditations in the stunningly beautiful and scenic Connemara.

We visit places that are conducive to meditation, places that inspire and rejuvenate and places that soothe.  Often, after such an experience, people find they feel much calmer, they feel much lighter in themselves and they feel more optimistic and hopeful.

Look deep, deep into nature and then you will understand everything better.”
Albert Einstein
